Privacy First
We built this service with privacy as a core principle. Here's exactly what happens to your data.
No Email Storage
Emails are analyzed in memory and immediately discarded. We never save your email content to any database.
No Data Sharing
We don't sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. Your privacy is not our business model.
Minimal Tracking
We use privacy-friendly analytics to reach more people who need this service. No cookies, no fingerprinting.
What Happens When You Forward an Email
1. Email Received
Your forwarded email arrives at our server. The email content is loaded into temporary memory for analysis.
2. Analysis Performed
Our algorithms analyze the sender, links, and content. This happens entirely in memory — nothing is written to disk.
3. Response Sent
We send you the analysis results via email. Your original email address is only used to deliver this response.
4. Data Discarded
After the response is sent, all data is immediately purged from memory. We keep no record of your email or your identity.
What We Do Store
For our service to improve and protect future users, we store minimal, anonymized data:
Anonymous Pattern Hashes
One-way hashes of confirmed scam patterns. These cannot be reversed to reveal the original content.
Aggregate Statistics
Total emails analyzed, scam detection rates. No individual data, just numbers.
Email Content
Never stored. Analyzed in memory only.
Your Email Address
Never stored. Only used to send the response.
IP Addresses
Not logged or stored.
Personal Information
We don't collect any personal data.
Third-Party Services
We use minimal external services, all chosen for privacy:
Cloudflare Workers
Our code runs on Cloudflare's edge network. They process the email in memory but don't store content.
Threat Intelligence APIs
We check URLs against URLhaus and Spamhaus. Only the URLs are sent, not your email content.
Analytics & Advertising
To keep this service free and help more people protect themselves from scams, we run occasional advertising. This requires minimal, privacy-friendly analytics:
Umami Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused, open-source analytics tool. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal data, and doesn't track you across websites. We only see aggregated data like page views and referral sources to understand which content helps people most.
X (Twitter) Conversion Tracking
When we run ads on X to reach people who might benefit from this service, X's conversion pixel helps us understand if the ads are effective. We don't share your email data or personal information with X — only that a visit occurred.
We believe privacy and reach can coexist. These tools help us keep the lights on and extend our reach to vulnerable people who need email safety guidance — without compromising your privacy.
